Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information PlayAce Games collects, how we use it, and the rights you have. We keep what we collect to a minimum.
In short: we collect only the account data needed to run your account, and we use one essential sign-in token to keep you logged in. We do not collect your name, email, or payment details, we do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller for the Service is Darvinian Holdings Ltd, a company incorporated in Cyprus, with its registered office at 3 Faidriadon 3, 3076 Limassol, Cyprus ("we", "us", "our"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
2. What we collect
We collect only the following account data, which you provide or generate by using the Service:
| Data | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| Username | To identify your account and let you sign in. |
| Password (stored only as a salted hash) | To secure your account. We never store your password in plain text and cannot see it. |
| Gold Coin balance | To show your current virtual balance. |
| In-game activity (games played and their outcomes, and basic statistics) linked to your account | To show your play history and run the games. |
Other than the account data above, we do not collect or store personal information about you for our own use. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) on our behalf in order to deliver and secure the Service; this is standard for any website and is not used to build a profile of you.
3. Cookies and local storage
We use only strictly necessary browser storage. Specifically, when you sign in we store a sign-in token in your browser's local storage so that you stay logged in as you move around the site. This token is essential for the Service to work and is not used for advertising, marketing, tracking, or analytics. Because it is strictly necessary, it does not require consent under applicable ePrivacy rules. You can remove it at any time by signing out or clearing your browser storage.
4. How we use your data
- to create and operate your account;
- to provide the games and show your Gold Coin balance and play history;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse or cheating;
- to respond to your requests and support enquiries;
- to comply with legal obligations that apply to us.
5. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the account and Service you have asked for;
- Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and operate it reliably;
- Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law.
6. Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service (for example, our hosting provider), who act as our processors under appropriate agreements and may only use the data to provide their services to us. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of users.
7. International transfers
Our infrastructure providers may store or process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, or ask us to delete your data, we will delete or anonymise your account data, except where we need to retain limited information to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve disputes.
9. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, access is restricted, and connections to the Service are encrypted. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Cyprus this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy).
11. Children
The Service is intended only for adults who are at least 21 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher), and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age. If you believe an underage person has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above, and where changes are significant we will take reasonable steps to inform you.
13. Contact
